Robert began his extensive executive management experience in the hospitality industry back in Alberta, Canada where he directed and assisted in the development and execution in the expansion plans and maintenance of all capital projects as Director of Operations for the Arbco Restaurants Group.
In 1989, he made his move his into the Hotel Industry where he spent six years with the prestigious 5 Star Luxury Hotel Group, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts firstly serving as Director of Catering & Sales, followed by a promotion to Director of Food & Beverage.
Robert left Canada in 1996 to pursue his goals and passion in the City of Entertainment, Las Vegas. He made his first mark at the Stratosphere Hotel & Casino where he took on the role of Food & Beverage, General Manger and was engaged as an acting member of the pre-opening management team.
In 1998 Robert was recruited by the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino to take on a Senior Management role in Catering & Sales specializing in penetrating the corporate events market for the properties newly constructed Conference Center encompassing over 500,000 square feet of function space.
After six years, Robert joined ICE Nightclub as its Director of Catering & Sales with focus on driving millions of dollars in ancillary revenue to the property through corporate event buy-outs of the venue during pre-club hours or on normally closed days.
In 2004, Robert was sought after by Nightclub/Restaurant developer PURE Management Group with a portfolio of eleven venues to head up and lead its Catering & Sales Division in the capacity of Vice President with emphasis on developing and creating a user friendly corporate environment where quality, service and execution would be the industry standard for all else to follow.
In 2010, he joined The Nightlife Group at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino as their Executive Director of Nightlife Sales responsible for corporate and private events sales for the properties six nightlife venues.
Robert currently serves as VP of Catering & Sales for Angel Management Group where he oversees Corporate Sales, Catering, and Banquet Operations.
